Dr. Marilyn Stewart

Stewart MarilynDr. Marilyn Stewart was part of the original faculty at the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture’s Teachers Academy. She joined the Athena Foundation in its initial year and continued to teach there until it disbanded. She retired from The Greenhill School, where she was a member of the English department and a Faculty Leader. She has also taught at Southern Methodist University, Brookhaven College, and Sunset High School. She holds the B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin and the Ph.D. in Literature and Psychology from the University of Dallas. She has published essays on The Odyssey, Romeo and Juliet, Paradise Lost, and Don Quixote.
