Kristen Cunningham’s practice focuses on securities law and general corporate matters for public issuers and other companies. She has served as in-house counsel for multiple public companies, including a Fortune 250 company, primarily focusing on corporate governance and securities regulation as well as general business operations. Cunningham advises issuers and their executive management teams on SEC disclosure and compliance, securities offerings, and executive compensation, and counsels boards and their committees on corporate governance matters, including representing special committees conducting internal investigations. She has experience advising clients in varied industries, including banking, retail, food and beverage, technology and energy.

Cunningham graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 1999. Prior to attending law school, she spent five years in various roles with one of the largest mutual fund and financial services groups in the world. She is focused on providing practical, results-oriented advice to her clients.
